November 2005 –Jan 2007 –
Volunteer Editor of Large Magazine, Llgbc
Also in the
literary vein, I have had the superb opportunity to edit the lesbian
gay and bisexual experience "large" magazine, since late November 2005.
That was two issues worth, and it was a lot of fun, and served to
impregnate the desire to write and be around writers all the more. This
was a huge step towards me carrying on with writing, and I owe the
LLGBC, a great deal of thanks for that.
December 2006 – May 2007
Volunteer Website administrator, Llgbc.com
Slightly different from the
above, I have had the wonderful experience of updating the Llgbc’s
website, working with a variety of individuals and groups to showcase
events going on and in around Leicester, and the various services and
groups the centre offer for LGBT people here in Leicester. The
experience editing the magazine and the website has helped my own
creative instinct, as well as giving me a chance to write in different
styles and help me develop as a writer.video Nation suicide Prevention video

harm. I wrote about why i harmed in the past, and why i occasionally
still do. to access this article follow this link:

its quite horrific, pictures of peoples self harm. if you think it may
help you understand others and yourself, then have a look, but if you

Leicester sound book interview
On Tuesday 6th of June, 2006 i was on Radio Leicester sound,
talking about mental health and my book, and how i hoped it would help
others suffering with sever suicidal tendencies, depression, voice
hears and whatnot to have hope that things could get better - because i
know that things can get better, even when, like now situations seem to dictate otherwise.... i don't have a link for that yet, but some of you
may have tuned in yesterday, and heard it.... if so,, i would love to
hear from you....
November 2005 - Nanwrimo 2005
last november, i took part in an event called
NanoWrimo, the goal of which was to write a 50,000 world novel, or at
least the beginnings of one, in 30 days.it started from the 1st to the
30th of november, and i am very happy to say that i enjoyed every
minuite of it, it was a superb thing to be involved in, and there was a
real sense of achievement once i had completed the task. im going to
have another go this year, maybe producing something i can get into
print. i have used bits of last years manuscrpt in other things, but we
will see what happens this november.
