For News and Views, i find the Guardian Website the best by far, as it is very leftwing, honest, and is very very good for keeping uptodate with information

I have been working on my digital Art, and have been attempting to put together a collection of work, and in that task, i have found photobox to be an amazing aid. Basically you upload your digital print, they can print it in any size, on almost any media, including wood, lino, metal, and frames, and canvas. There catalgue of projects is amazing, i really cannot explain it here.

This site is awsome for getting hold of sci-fi podcasts/Audio dramas, from Logunsrun to metropolis

http://www.brokensea.com

This site is great for new Doctor who audiodramas and podcasts, as well as Startrek, and a lot more, i really do enjoy it, and i really suggest you have a look.

This is an eextremely cool site if you are a fan of stargate, or allo allo, futureama, anime, games etc. This site has whole seasons of these things, free games, and a lot more, it is awsome, and i spend a lot of time watching episodes online. It is great. If you fancy, check it out.

i suggest you look at madnotbad, a wonderful site ran by Rachel Studley, herself a survivor of mental health distress, a terrific inspiration, who runs a website featuring prose and poetry, digital and other art, by other service users, she also has an opinion section and much much more. the forum part of the site is a great place to discuss support needs, creativity in the creativity corner andmuch much more. i cant really do the place justice in these few words but i reccomend it highly. if you like the sound of this wonderful and safe haven from the world, just follow this link:

Next up is the first site of Clare Hill,  her mental health related one. (yes, clare is so cool she has two), one for the mental health related stuff, and a seperate showcase. both are excellent, and you should look at both. clare is an Author who struggles with her own mental distress whilst doing a writing course, bringing up a child, managing day to day relationships and turning out fantastic book after fantastic book. she has also written many magazine articles, short stories, perfomrs performance poetry and much more. sheis a very talented lady and i suggest you go to this site, and then follow the links to her latest site, where you can get upto date information on the things she is producing.  she has been a big personal inspiration, and i highly recomend you visit her site.Go on, you know you want to:

and whilst your at it, i strongly recommend you check out her writing showcase, the second ste of Clare's tht i mentioned... coz its very cool. you can get to that here:

This next site is a bit of a doozy, seriouslyits wonderful, it helped me loads when i needed support, to know what services existed how tocontact them, what to in a crisis etc...its all right there, for anyone to access. So Who are they, and what do they do? Well as for who they are, they are LAMPdirect, the community mental health site for the people of Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. And as for what they do, its quite simple, they provide information, on support and how to get it, and much more. thats because, whether you use mental health services, or want to access treatment, or care for someone with mental health issues, or work with people experiencing mental distress, you need up to the minute information. So, the aim of theirsite is to provide you with news about mental health issues, and to offer a broad range of information about events and opportunities, as well as services, activities, and support available within this community. Click on the link below to visit them now:

This one is purely because it made me smile. you see, i am a huge tom cruise fan, being bisexual/Gay (nver quite sure which heading i come under) i quite simply fancy the pants off him, and swoon whenever i see photos of the man. he is a big hunk of hunkiness, and this site pokes gentle fun at him, pointing out his odder behaviour, and where he is at. as a Tom cruise fan, far from finding this place offensive, it has me in fits of giggles, and confirms my faith in the Cruister... i love eccentricity, and Tom Cruise has it in spades. Long Live Tom, Tom for President! go on, take a gander:

this next site is amazingly clever. a mix of sci-fi elements, rewriting the matrix trilogy and shaping it into two videos that aim to show the truth about meat farms and how by buying and eating meat bought from supermarkets we are purpetuating and absive system that takes away animal rights. it isnt saying everyone should be a vegetarian, just source where you buy your meat from a little more carefully, make sure its free range and ethically produced.... though if you can become a vegetarian, then bonus. but this site is funny which is the main thing also. its got great grpahics, the videos mock the matrix so well, i was grinning from ear to ear.  just watch the videos first, and see what you think.  i think its fan-bloody-tstic.

I appologise for the lack of Linkage here, but this is a very new site, and as such i havnt forged many links as yet, but rest assured over the next few weeks this page and the rest of the site will be getting an extensive overhall, becoming more stramlined, easier to naviagte,  more graphically stimulating and much more. watch this space.Let me take this oppurtunity to once again thankyou for your visit hear, as it vindicates the hard work it takes to do this, whilst batling mental illness, editorial deadlines, monday mornings and several ungry kittens who have taken to wakeing   me at 3am. Anyway, thanks for your visit, im done, were finsished for this session,ok, thats me done, im outta here...

cheers, Adam Pick
