Leicester has been my home for pretty much my whole life, its good sides, its bad sides, its windy cobbled lanes in the trendy section, its markets, department stores, its nearby feilds and country lanes, the resterants, the parks and green spaces, the various places of worship, the excellent ethnic mix here, we are a truly multiculteral society, and i am proud to be fromhere. we have a rich and varied history, many cultures coming otgether to make our city the place it is today. At oncemodern, but still strongly rooted to it past. we are a town of students, young professional, manual workers, all living in harmoney. it is a fantastic place t visit, and those of us who live here are often far too jaded by what we take for granted.
